Pivot chart top 10

Hi there, I have created a pivot table and chart but want to show just the top 10. I know how to do this using value filters but the 10th-30th items all have the same value, so it is actually showing the top 30. I can hide the rows in the table but the chart is showing all 30 - how can I adapt the chart to only show the first 10 regardless of the remaining items having the same value please?

RE: Pivot chart top 10

Hello Emma,

Thank you for your question. One solution would be to use the filter button inside the Pivot Chart to filter out the unwanted items. Simply un-tick the boxes and those items will be hidden.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

View a unique list

You have a column with hundreds of entries, and you need to see what unique items are entered in it. Select any cell in that column, hold down Alt and press the down arrow: Excel produces an alphabetically-sorted list of unique entries in that column.
