Conditional Formatting

Does anyone please know how to conditional format from one tab on a spreadsheet to another tab using a filtered column (in the first tab and not the intended formatted tab)? I have tried an IF conditional formatting formula but it doesnt seem to be working

Thank you

RE: Conditional Formatting

Hi Melissa,

Thank you for the forum question.

I will need more details to be able understand what you want to achieve.

I am not sure what you mean by "using a filtered column".

What is the criteria for the If logic?

I found a video on Youtube but I do not know if it is useful, but it shows an example of conditional format across tabs.

Please provide me with more details thanks.

Excel tip:

New to Excel 2010 - Sparklines!

Excel 2010 includes a new feature called Sparklines which are tiny charts that fit into a single cell and plot data in cells from the worksheet. There are a host of formatting and styles that can be applied to them and they are really quite interesting.

>insert
>sparklines
>Choose any style you want

You will be asked for the range and it will automatically select the cell your in to insert the sparklines.
