Pivot tables - calculated extra columns
hi
if I have a pivot table with the max and min of a data set, how do I add a column showing the variance (range) between the two - so in your training example, the gap between the highest and lowest salaries in a given country or region
thanks
RE: Pivot tables - calculated extra columns
Hi Paul,
Thank you for the forum question.
If you have the Max and Min values in your source table you can add a calculated column with the calculation =Max-Min.
If you in the PivotTable turn a field to return Max or Min, it is not possible to get what you want.
Kind regards
