How to set email alerts for nearly due or over due dates on an excel spreadsheet

RE: Excel

Hi Alexandra,

Thank you for the forum question.

Almost everything is possible in Excel, but what you want is complicated. You will have to have knowledge of VBA coding and write the code. You will need knowledge of writing decision codes, loops, Outlook VBA and understand object variables.

I found an add-in by googling. I have no experience with the add-in so I cannot tell you, if it is any good.

RE: Excel

Thank you for coming back to me so promptly. I knew it was not going to be straightforward. Thank you for the add-in, I'll see how I get on.

Thanks again

Alex

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
