Excel - quick way to increase the size of rows
Excel - quick way to increase the size of rows (to show every piece of text within it), without decreasing the font.
I know how to drag each row, but thought there was a quick way of then applying this to all the rows (I have many)
I'm sure I was shown a method on my course, but have since forgotten.
RE: Excel - quick way to increase the size of rows
Hi Virginia,
You can use the autofit process.
When you did Excel intermediate you probably were shown how to double click on space between the column headers which would expand the column to fit the contents. You can do exactly the same with rows.
If you double click on the border between the rows they will increase in height to fit the contents.
You can also do this for the whole sheet if you click on the top left hand corner of the sheet, between the 1 and the A.
I hope this helps.
Claire
