Excel
Hi
I hope someone can help me please?
I am creating a stock control spreadsheet and need help assigning a number to a cell that is connected by a hyperlink to another page, but I need the number in the hyperlinked cell to multiple by the previous cell to give a used number & it total with other numbers to a collective Total?
Am I asking too much & do I need to simplify what I'm trying to do?
Many thanks
Hopefully
Lucy
RE: Excel
Hi Lucy,
Thank you for the forum question.
You write that you are using a hyperlink, but I have a feeling that you mean that you have a linked cell.
If you have a linked cell, the formula bar will show something like ='the name of the sheet'!B3 .If the cell reference is B3. Click after what you have in the linked cell and type * (asterix) and then click on the previous cell.
Kind regards
