Charting
How do I chart two sets of index returns and create (a) a since inception starting point from 0 (common base year or base starting point), and (b) a trend line so that negative returns in the data series don't create a zig/zag line but are smoothed so that there is an upward sloping line?
RE: Charting
Hi Kemal,
Thank you for the forum question.
Create a line chart from the two sets of index returns. Right click one of the lines and click TrendLine. In the Trend line options you can set the intercepter to 0. If you just want to display the trend line right click the line showing the returns and click Format Data Series click the Paint Bucket and click No line.
I hope this can guide you in the right direction.
Kind regards
