Pivot Chart
Once I've created a Pivot Chart, changed formatting, labels etc. I would like to copy and reuse as a template and change the source data. But I'm not able to change source data. Any advice?
Thank you
RE: Pivot Chart
Hi Donna,
Thank you for the forum question.
When you create a PivotTable Excel create something called Pivot Cache and you will need to replace the Pivot Cache with the new data.
A much better solution is to right click on the chart and save it as a template. Next time you want to have a Pivot Chart just click Pivot Chart and to the left of the dialog box you can find a folder named Templates. Select the template you want to use and you will get a chart based on the template.
Kind regards
