Comments

We are using comments in a set of Word documents. We want to have two types of comments. One should be visible only to the team who edit the documents. The other set should be visible to general users. How could we do this please?

RE: Comments

Hello Liz,

Thank you for your question. Word does not allow you to hide only certain comments. You can either show all comments or hide all comments. What I would suggest is that you have copies of the documents which have both public and private comments and copies which have only public comments.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

RE: Comments

Thank you for your response (it doesn't actually help though!)

Word tip:

Displaying tables in columns

How do you display two tables adjacent to each other on a page that has two columns?

1. Insert two tables as you normally would.

2. Adjust column widths in each table so that the total width of each table is less than half the width of the page.

3. Highlight both tables.

4. Click the Columns button (on the Standard toolbar), then select 2 Columns.
