Pivot table macros
How do I get a pivot table macro to work? I get constant bugs, are their any materials you can point me towards?
RE: pivot table macros
Hi James,
Thank you for the forum question.
PivotTables are very useful tools.
I have had bugs in my codes too working with PivotTables. I would like to help you, but I would like to know a little bit more about the bugs you are dealing with.
If you have a PivotTable macro which create a PivotTable Excel will name the PivotTable and then you will not be able to create another PivotTable in the same workbook without deleting the first one. If this is the issue you can generate a PivotTable name automatically for each time you run the code.
I do not know if this is the issue but please tell me which problems you have.
We are creating PivotTable code on our Excel Advanced VBA course.
Kind regards
