Date column in Excel - including day of the week
Hi
I'm using 2010 version at home. I created a spreadsheet for my wife to ease her diary of customers she works for on a self employed basis.
I've excluded weekends successfully, but I am also wanting the day of the week to be displayed. For instance, date appears as 13/4/2016 should also be prefixed (or suffixed) by the word WED or WEDNESDAY
Had a great training session yesterday at the office in Manchester and we covered this briefly, but I didn't take a note at the time. Hope you can help
RE: Date column in Excel - including day of the week
Hi Alan,
Thank you for the forum question.
select the dates in the worksheet. On the HOME tab click on
the tiny down arrow in the NUMBER group. Click CUSTOM on the CATEGORY list to the left. In the TYPE box enter dddd dd/mm/yyyy and click OK.
Kind regards
