Thank you for the forum question.

I cannot answer the question: "what is the most common macros".

By using macros we can save time and avoid making mistakes.

If you are doing repeating task you can create a macro, which can do it for you. We all have different repeating tasks when we are working with Excel. If you import data from a database and every day need to delete columns and rows. If you need to create a report each week. If you need to send an email to the same group of people every day.
