Page layout and text boxes/callouts
1. Call-outs/text boxes - so slow to respond to editing text this feature was unusable and I had to abandon it. Why?
2. Now I can't find out how to exit the header mode.
3. In Page Layout, orientation, size and margins are disabled.
Help!
RE: page layout and text boxes/callouts
Hi Liz,
Let's see if I can help. Simon has forwarded me an email mentioning the problems you are currently having with Excel.
1. Comments are not controlled by Excel, they are controlled by Office/Windows. I have a suggestion to help, but before I do, how many files do you have open on your machine when you try this? This may be a performance issue with the computer being unable to handle multiple programs so it slows everything down.
2. To leave the Header Mode
Along the tabs at the Top click view, then click on the Normal button
3. Page Layout mode is an unusual mode. While you are clicked into the Header or Footer, shortcuts are disabled and you lose functionality. Click back in to the main page, this restores functionality.
Please let me know if this helps
Kind regards
