Dashboard

Dear doug or Jen

I went to Dashboard Training on 3 Nov, and learned a lot.

I have come across this when establishing dashboard in practice:

I can produce pivot charts and link them via slicers.

But I don't know present the raw data in complex table with slicer linkage.

The required dashboard format is complex table with slicer:

14 Columns and 3 rows

Column 1-6 are
Applications, Offers, Pending, % of Pending, UFs, % of UFs out of replies

(The rest columns are the similar to 1-6)

Rows 1-3 are
Year 2015
Year 2014
Yr-on-yr chang

I am processing raw data via calculation so columns in required table are also ready in raw data.

But I have to produce one pivot able for each cell at the moment, and link all to dashboard with slicer.

Could you suggest any simpler and proper way?

Is there any way I can attach the data tables, so the discussion will be a lot easier.

Many thanks.

Excel tip:

Hiding Formulae in the Formula Bar

It is possible to protect the contents of a cell reference(s) from amendment by applying cell protection. The contents of the cell reference can also be stopped from displaying in the formula bar.

Step 1: Select Format > Cells > Protection.

Step 2: Tick Hidden option. Ensure Locked is ticked

Step 3: Select Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet

(Ensure "Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells" is ticked)
