Fields as slicers

I have a 4 field a,b,c and d with values for each of them.

I have aggregated the four field and made a new pivot table field called Total = a+b+c+d.

I am now using Total for my pivot table. However I am unable to add new slicer with a, b, c and d as selections.

please help!

Sorry for delay in replying.
I have attempted to reproduce your question. Creating a calculated field called Total and then displaying slicers for a, b, c, or d. It seems to work but I need more information to appreciate the issue yo are having.
