Pivot Tables

Pivot Tables are geared toward incremental transactional data, but would any continuous incremental process be just as well served by the Pivot Table analysis tools?

Thank you for your post. Yes, Pivot Tables can handle continuous data, as long as you regularly refresh the pivot table to show the changes made to the original data sheet. This is because Pivot Tables store the data in a separate area of the computer's memory and the link to the original data is not live.

When you refresh, the Pivot Table will expand and make changes in accordance with changes in the original data.
