Graph data copies from a PDF

Is there a way to copy a PDF graph into Excel?

RE: Graph data copies from a PDF

Dear Rashmi

Thank you for your question to our forum.

It is a question about how the PDF was created. If the graph is added to the PDF file as a picture you can right click the graph and save it as a picture. If the PDF file is created as a photocopy you cannot do this.

If it is created as a photocopy you can use ScreenShot tool in the insert ribbon to create a picture.

Thank you for your reply.
The PDF file is received from a third party. I need to input the data from the graph into Excel. Currently we input the data by measuring the graph which as you can imagine is very time consuming and inaccurate.

RE: Graph data copies from a PDF

Dear Rashmi,

There is different solutions to extract data from PDF. Try Adobe Reader. If the data are added as table, you can copy and paste to Excel. If Photocopy you can't.

There is different software which can do what you want.

Please see link below

You can also do it using Adobe Acrobat

I hope you will find a solution which will do it for you.
