Save reports internet version 8

I have created a macro that goes into the website and download the reports and load them, but when I am trying to save them, internet version 8 does not give me the option to save them as default in downloads on the C drive. It is asking me where I would like to save them. It just giving me Save As option.

I have another version of the macro for internet 9. In that case I send a tab key order when the report is loaded to save it and it gets automatically saven on the C drive.

My question is. How could I create a macro that save automatically the report in the especific folder once they have been loaded?

Thank you

Hi Maria

Thanks for getting in touch. Searching for solutions to your problem it seems you're not the only one to have issues specifically with IE8.

I'm not able to test it as I don't have access to IE8 but this URLDownloadToFile function seems like it would help:

I hope this helps.
