Adding a picture to a cell
I would like to attach a picture to a single cell so that when I hover over the cell the picture will appear.
At the moment I am left with a huge picture taking over my sheet! Help
RE: Adding a picture to a cell
Hi Joanna
Thanks for getting in touch. This can be done via cell comments.
Right-click any cell and you will get the option to Insert Comment. Usually this is used for a text annotation. Once one has been inserted, click the border of the comment until it turns into dots (you'll know what I mean when you see it). Right-click the border and choose Format Comment.
On this new dialogue box, go to Colors and Lines and drop-down Fill Color. Choose Fill Effects and Picture. From here you should be able to browse for a picture to use as the pop-up.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards

Excel tip:New to Excel 2010 - Sparklines!Excel 2010 includes a new feature called Sparklines which are tiny charts that fit into a single cell and plot data in cells from the worksheet. There are a host of formatting and styles that can be applied to them and they are really quite interesting. |
