Graphs

I've created a basic graph which has 3 blocks if you will. I want to be able to click and have another block added on top of an existing one...is there a way to do this?

Thank you.

Kim

RE: graphs

Hi Kim

Thanks for getting in touch. This is achieved through animating your chart.

First, design your completed chart with all the blocks in place. Ensure the chart is selected and then go to the Animations tab. Choose an Animation effect (if you don't want anything too showy Appear will do the trick). Then select Effect Options, and from the drop-down you can dictate the order that the blocks will appear.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

PowerPoint tip:

Running PowerPoint Show Without Opening PowerPoint

If you double click on a PowerPoint show, PowerPoint opens and shows the first slide in development mode. To prevent this do the following:

Find your PowerPoint file.

Right click on the file's icon with your mouse.

Select 'Show' from the menu that is displayed. PowerPoint opens and runs your slide Show. When the show finishes, PowerPoint closes.

Your audience never sees the PowerPoint working window at all.

To make it easier place a shortcut to the file on your desktop for quick access.
