Pivot Tables

how to consolidate sheets of data into one to create a pivot table. i.e. creating a pivot table from 52 weeks of data all on seperate tabs

RE: Pivot Tables

Hello Heather,

Thank you for your question regarding consolidation and pivot tables.

The steps for consolidation are on page 19 of the manual you were given on the course (you are also able to download the manual from our website once you have logged in).

Once the data has been consolidated you turn it into a pivot table by clicking on the Pivot Table button which you will find on the Insert ribbon and in the Table group.

I hope this answers your question but if it does not please reply with more details so I can give a more accurate response.

Kind regards

Cindy

Excel tip:

Display Formulas Instead of Results in Excel 2010

By pressing Ctrl ~ once, Excel will display formulas rather than the results of the formulas. Press it again, and the results will appear again.

A much quicker and simpler way of displaying your formulas!
