Sorting & Filter
Hi there again,
I have another question about database, so of the contacts are the same how can ask the system to check for any double ones and delete them? Also can I ask for two sheets with contact to cross-references for doubled contacts?
Thank you,
Joanna
RE: Sorting & Filter
Hello Joanna,
Thank you for your question regarding using conditional formatting to find duplicates in your data.
First select the guest name data and use conditional formatting to find duplicates. You will find this option in 'Highlight Cell Rules' called 'Duplicate Values'.
After you have verified the duplicates then you can remove them using the 'Remove Duplicates' button in the Data ribbon.
To compare for duplicates in two different sheets you will have to use VBA code to do this. You can also buy applications/add ins which can do this.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
