I attended an intermediate excel May 9th and I wrote the following formula but it comes out #name? so i am doing something wrong - can anyone help
=if(a1="michael", "helllo michael", "intruder")

Hello Michael,

Looking at your formula there is nothing wrong with it, and when I copy it to my spreadsheet, it works as it should. I can only suggest that you check on your sheet you have the "quote" marks around each word otherwise it will give the NAME error.

Generate randon numbers
