Pivot Table Excel Data Manipulation
Reverse Pivot Tables,
I have numerous sheets in a workbook of data in a table. I need to consolidate one column of the table from each sheet into a new table. The data in the table will essentially be going from a table into 3 columns of data on the left of a new table. How would I do this? It is essentially the reverse of forming a pivot table?
Thanks
RE: Pivot Table Excel Data Manipulation
Hi Tashi, thanks for your query. There's no such feature as a Reverse Pivot Table and without seeing your data it's a little difficult to advise you on which way to go with this. It sounds like you have various options open to you such as using the Consolidate tool, MS Query or one of the free add-ins on the net. There is a lengthy discussion of such tools here which should point you in the right direction.

Hope this helps,
