find and replace commands

RE: editing

Hello Francesca,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel courses with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding where to find the 'Find and Replace' commands.

Take a look at the Home ribbon and go to the right hand side where you will find the Editing group. Click the 'Find & Select' button and in the drop down menu you will find the Find option and the Replace option.

The shortcut key for Find is CTRL+F

The shortcut key for Replace is CTRL+H

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Excel tip:

Showing all menu items

If you go into a pull down menu you usally find that you get a selection of items(this is the default) or sometimes everything. If you only get a selectiopn you have to go to the double arrows at the bottom of the menu and click it to get all of the hidden items.
To turn this off so that you always get everything, go to Tools / Customize / Options Tab / "Always show full menus". Make sure there is a tick in the box and you will always have every item.
