how do you delete a page that is in the middle of a document

RE: page

Hi Claire, thanks for your query. In a document containing straight text you can usually just select the text and delete it from wherever it is in the document. Be aware, however, that any automatic numbering will alter accordingly.

However, in more complicated documents it's always wise to delete material out with your non-printing characters showing so you can see if you are including any page or section breaks in your deletion. Deleting these can have drastic consequences for the formatting of the document so you'd be wise to keep them visible during the deletion in case you accidentally remove them.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Word tip:

Change text immediately from upper case to lower case or vice versa in Word 2010

You don't ave to re-type all the text out again in Word 2010 if you decide you want to change the case of the text. Here's a really quick way of doing it without typing it all out again.

First, select the selection of text you want to change. Then, just press the Shift + F3 keys and keep pressing until the text looks the way you want.
