Comments on a spreadsheet

I am need to write comments next to data on my spreadsheet at work.
I update these comments daily, so there are alot of comments in each cell.

I want to be able to open the spreadsheet and see the most recent comment, instead of clicking on the comment and scrolling down to the last one.

Is there anyway I can do this, so my manager can open the spreadsheet and see straight away that the debtors have been contacted.

Thank you.

RE: Comments on a spreadsheet

Hi Renee

Thank you for your question. If I understand you correctly it sounds like you are adding and updating information into a cell.

There is no way that I am aware of for Excel to change the order of text in a cell. You may find it easier to add new entries to the beginning of the cell - that way the latest information is always first. You might also wish to use bold to indicate the most recent comment.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew
