How can I create my own template with a transparent image that I can upload in the background of all slides?

RE: power point

Hi Latha

Thank you for your question.

To add an image to the background of your slides switch to Slide Master view on the View ribbon. Choose the layout that should display your background image from the thumbnails on the left side and paste your image into the slide edit area in the main area of your screen. If you want the image on every slide select the top (larger) layout thumbnail.

You can set part of your image to be transparent by selecting it then from the Picture Tools ribbon, on the Format tab select the Recolor button. At the bottom of the menu click Set Transparent Color then use your mouse to click on the colour in your image that you would like to be transparent (usually the background)

I hope this helps - let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

PowerPoint tip:

Saving a Drawn Object as a picture

If you want to reuse an object that you have drawn, you can save it so that it is added to the Clip Organiser.
Right click the object, choose Save as Picture, give it a file name and place it in the relevant location.
