We have a number of PA's to high profile managers the PA's have been given delegate permissions to the managers mailboxes, when the PA's accept meetings on behalf of the managers the meeting does not appear in the managers calendar. We are now on Exchange 2010.
RE: Outlook 2003
Hi Davinder,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
The possible remedies could be to check the permissions and make sure they have the maximum permissions to do everything.
If you have an Exchange Server person, ask them to check the settings on the Server.
I hope this helps.

Simon
RE: Outlook 2003
Hi Simon,
Thank you for your response unfortunately permissions have already been checked as per delegate and the settings on Exchange Server have provided no clues either. Unusually the problem is intermittent do you have any other advice?

RE: Outlook 2003
Hi Davinder,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
I have just tried again on Outlook 2007 and it seemed to work.
I did the following:
1. Assigned permissions to the PA at Owner level for the Inbox and Calendar.
2. I then sent a meeting request from someone else to the a machine that belongs to a proposed manager.
3. The PA opened the email from within the mailbox of the manager and accepted it from PA machine.
4. The meeting then appeared in the managers calendar.
It seems to me it may be an issue that needs to be resolved via your IT Department.
Regards
Simon
