Excel multi screen functionality
I have two work screens. Can I open two different Excel sheets on two screens so that I could compare things conveniently?
RE: Excel multi screen functionality
Hi Pankaj,
Thank you for your question.
It should be possible by going to the View Tab on the ribbon and in the Window group choose New Window. This creates a new window dfor the same workbook (Book1:1 and Book1:2). You can then change the sheet on the Book1:2, click restore and drag that window onto the second monitor.

I hope this answers your question.

RE: Excel multi screen functionality
Hi Simon,
Many thanks for your prompt reply. I tried following the instructions - opened a new window, unmaximise the two sheet successfully but can not drag to the second screen. Everything stays in one screen only. Hence, when I expand, it opens in one screen again. May be I am missing some step. Do you know where things are getting wrong?
Kind regards,
Pankaj
RE: Excel multi screen functionality
Hi Pankaj,
I really thought that would have worked but as I have no way of testing this it is hard to answer this one. As this doesn't work I may be inclined to assume it can't be done.
What I advise you do is have a look on the Excel forums and see if anyone has found a solution.
I will keep looking and if I come across anything I will email you back.
Regards
Simon
