Can you do Macro's across different software programs such as Sage?
Hi Nick, thanks for your query. Sadly, the macro recorder won't translate actions carried out in other applications into Excel code. To tie Sage and Excel together you'll need to venture into the world of VBA and API calls!

To quickly apply the currency format to cell in your spreadsheet, select (highlight) the cells you wish to apply currency format to, then use Ctrl + Shift + $
This will apply a pounds symbol even though the $ key is pressed.
