How do I check timings in a presentation?

RE: PowerPoint

Hi Christopher,

Thank you for your question.

Do you mean recording the timings so that the show will run on its own without using the mouse or keyboard?

If so, go to the Slide Show tab, the Set Up group and click Rehearse Timings. Then run the presentation and allow the appropriate amount of time before you move to the next slide.

To View the slide timings, go to Slide Sorter View and switch to the Animations tab. If you need to edit the timings, click on each slide and edit the time at the time in the Automatically After box.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Simon

PowerPoint tip:

Make your PowerPoint presentation smaller

Choose "File", "Properties" and turn off "Save preview picture".

This also speeds up saving the file, as Powerpoint does not have to create the little image preview.
