MACROS

I would like to take a macro and update it, but I've never worked with MAcros in the past. Is it possible to update a marco, or must they be started from scratch? Basically I would like to run a macro to calculate foreign exchange rates.

RE: MACROS

Hi Kate,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

You could certainly record a macro to convert currencies. However to edit the macros you would have to know how to create and edit VBA code.

The VBA code is automatically written as you are recording the macro in the front end.

Please find the link below on how to record macros:

I hope this helps.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Quickly hide and unhide rows and columns

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+9 to hide selected rows and Ctrl+0 to hide selected columns. The good thing about this shortcut is that you do not need to select entire rows or columns. For example, select B3:D3 then press Ctrl+0 to hide columns B to D.

Ctrl+Shift+9 unhides rows and Ctrl+Shift+0 unhides columns.
