Weekly averages

I have a set of annual data (prices) available for each working day of the week. How can I automatically calculate weekly averages base don this data?

Thanks ahead for your help

RE: weekly averages

Hello Maria,
Thank you for your question regarding average weekly sales.

Depending on the layout of the data in your sheet, you could simply select the weekly range of cells and use the Average function found in the Formulas ribbon. It works similar to Sum.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Excel tip:

Use Paint Brush to Format More than one Cell

To copy a format to many cells or ranges

1. Select the cell with the format that you want to copy

2. Double-click on the paint brush

When you move to the cell where you want to paste the format you will notice that a paint brush follows the cursor.

Paste the format to all the cells or ranges you need to format.

When finished go back to the paint brush on the tool bar and single click on it to deactivate the function.
