Excel - filter

Hi,
I'm just in the process of customizing my Quick Access Toolbar in Excel and would like to add the command that could be found under Data/Filter/Show all in 2003. Where can I find this in 2010, please? I have looked under All Commands, but no luck.
Many thanks.

RE: Excel - filter

Hi Antje, thanks for your query and welcome to the forum. If you're trying to add the "remove filter" option to the Quick Access toolbar, you'll might find it's been renamed. In the Customise box, change from Popular Commands to "Data Tab". Scroll down the list until you find Clear and add that cross to the right hand pane. That should remove any filters from tables that have an autofilter switched on.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Excel tip:

Use the Ctrl-key for quick navigation in Excel 2010

If you want to move quickly to the right, left, top or bottom of your spreadsheet, just press Ctrl and one of the arrow keys. If you want to then select all the data in that particular row or column, hold down the Shift key and press Ctrl and an arrow key.
