Copy contact information to personal contacts

Hi there,

I would like to know a fast way to copy all contact details from central Comany outlook database to my personal Outlook contacts in my laptop.

If I wish to send an e-mail to a colleague I write her name on the recipient field and run a name check. Then if I double click on the contact name all her information comes up, I can see that but I would like to store it in my personal contact so that I can retrieve some (e.g. telephone number) or all of it even if not online.

Thank you and rgards,

Elio

RE: Copy contact information to personal contacts

If your laptop is your main computer ie when in the office you connect it to the network and when on the road you use it as a stand alone it should already be setup to work offline.

If it is setup this way then you should have full access to the company Outlook Database. Check with your IT Department how to synchronize your laptop.

However if the Company Addresses are held in a separate folder which cannot be accessed offline or synchronized (eg in a Public folder) then:

Open the relevant folder

Select All the contacts (Ctrl+A)

Click Copy

Select your Contancts folder

Click Paste
