Multiply ranges within a value by differing amounts

I need a function formula that works out tiered commission. What I mean is, add together 10% of 0-100, 13% of 100-200, 16% of 200-300, 19% of 300-400, 21% of 400-500 & 24% of 500+

So, if I enter 200, I get 23. (10% of 0-100+13% of 100-200)

if I enter 456, I get 69.76 (10+13+16+19+11.76) (11.76 being 21% of 56).

Thanks. Hope you can help.

James.

RE: multiply ranges within a value by differing amounts

Hello James,

Thank you for your question regarding a tiered commission formula. I have created a small spreadsheet with a commission table. I have created a formula with nested IF statements which calculate the outcomes you requested.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
