Excel

Hi,

How do I get formulas into filtered cells without it also being input into the hidden unfiltered cells.

Tried: Copy & paste which changes the formula somewhat as the outcome differs from the 1st cell i have copied from.

dragging/ dble clicking on bottom right corner of 1st cell to replicate formular down also inputs into the unfiltered hidden cells.

thans in advance
Sophia

RE: Excel

Hi Sophia,

Thank you for your question.

Do you mean using autofilter to filter out specific results and then create formulas based on the results?

If so, have you tried functions such as the database functions(e.g. DSUM) or others like COUNTIF or SUMIF?

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Saving your Excel Spreadsheet as a CSV File

In situations where you need to save your Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file, follow these simple steps.

Click the File tab and click Save As.
Enter a name in the File name field.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Save as type field to select the file type. Scroll down the list and select CSV (comma delimited) (*.CSV)
Click Save

The data will now be saved to a separate CSV file which can be used in different applications.
