How to set the above when
50% (100/200) is in the cell and you only want the colour to change in another cell by reading the %, i.e. the 50% being the main figure against the target of 100%.

Hi Richard,

Thank you for your question.

Click into the relevant cell and go to Format and then Conditional Formatting.

Choose Formula is and enter = followed by the cell reference containing the % amount. Follow that by an equals sign and finally enter the value you want the cell to be tested against.

e.g. Formula is =c2=50%

Transpose text

You can transpose any range of cells, turning the columns into rows and the rows into columns. Just follow these steps:

Select the range.

Click the Copy button on the Standard toolbar to copy it to the Clipboard.

Select a cell outside of the range you copied.

Select Paste Special from the Edit menu.

In the Paste Special dialog box, click Transpose, then OK.
