Nested functions

Would it be possible to check this formula?
Many thanks

=IF(and(ABS(('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12)<$B$4,ABS(('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12)>$D$4,('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12,""))

RE: nested functions

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Is it possible to send me a copy of the workbook to put the formula in context?

If so, please send it to sk@stl-training.co.uk

Regards

Simon

RE: nested functions

Hello Mark,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding nested functions. There are only two adjustments you need to make to your formula. Add a bracket just after $D$4 which will end the AND function. Then remove the last bracket... remember, one IF usually one end bracket. See the following then copy and paste.

=IF(AND(ABS(('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12)<$B$4,ABS(('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12)>$D$4),('Input data'!ATI13-'Input data'!$BIH12)/'Input data'!$BIH12,"")

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Screen Splitters in Excel

Screen splitter icons can be set from the ribbon bar, or dragged from the scroll bars. The icon just above the up arrow on the right scroll bar controls the horizontal splitter; the icon to the right of the right arrow on the bottom scroll bar controls the vertical splitter.

These icons can be double-clicked to split the screen at the top left of the cell currently in use.
