MS Publisher Colour Schemes

Hi,

I have set up a Publisher document and have created a few colour schemes to be used within that document. However, when I save the document, the colour schemes are not saved with the document (i.e. they are attached to me the user, not the document). Is it possible to save the colour schemes (either in the document I created or for other people to download/install)?

Thanks,
Gavin

RE: MS Publisher Colour Schemes

Hi Gavin,

Thank you for your question.

The only possible solution I can think of is to try the idea I have outlined below.

I would suggest you could try creating a new style which incorporates all your colours and fonts and save the document on the network somewhere.

When another user wants to use that style, go to Styles and then Import Styles and choose the Publisher document.

Let me know if this works.

Regards

Simon

RE: MS Publisher Colour Schemes

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't seem to work. I think it comes back to the fact that when you save, the colour schemes created don't seem to save with the file, rather they are associated with the user's computer/profile.

If you think of any other suggestions, let me know. Otherwise this might have to go down as something we have to manually set up on each users machine/profile.

Thanks,
Gavin

RE: MS Publisher Colour Schemes

Hi Gavin,

Thank you for your response.

I think you may well be correct as apart from trying Styles, at the moment I can't think of another way of achieving this.

If I do come up with any ideas I will email you.

Regards

Simon
