Excel charts

Is there a way of setting the fonts and colours so you don't have to re-do them each time you create a graph?

RE: Excel charts

You can save a chart as a User Defined Chart. This saves the format and style of the chart so that you can apply the template to a new set of data.

To create a User Defined Chart:

1.Create a chart and then format the chart
2.Select the chart and go to the Chart Menu
3.Select Chart type and then move onto the Custom Types tab.
4.Select the User Defined radio button and then click on Add and give your chart and name and a description.
5.The next time you want to produce this chart select your data and go to the chart icon on the standard toolbar.
6.Move to the custom types tab on the first step of the wizard and select User Defined Charts.
Highlight your new chart and then click OK.

I hope this helps! Tanya

How to Spell Check an Excel 2010 Worksheet

Excel 2010 does not automatically spell check a document. So, here's how to manually spell check a worksheet.

Either select the ''Review'' tab in the Ribbon, go to the ''Proofing'' section and click ''Spelling.'' Or, simply press F7.
