Macros

What is the purpose of Macros, why do we use it?

RE: Macros

Hello Jitesh

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

A macro is an action or set of actions that you can use to automate a task, written in VBA.

The idea is that you can record yourself taking a series of actions, and then 'play' these actions so that a task can be performed quickly in Excel.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Random Numbers

Type =RAND()*200 to generate a number between 1 and 200.
Use the fill handle to drag down and populate as many cells as you'd like with random numbers.
