Pivot table & Vlookup

I would like to know how to use the Pivot Table & VLookup Functions

RE: pivot table & Vlookup

Hi Lawrence

Thank you for your question.

You can create a pivot table from a list (data stored in a series of columns) by clicking anywhere in your list and going to Data - PivotTable and PivotChart report and step through the wizard to create your pivot table.

The Vlookup function again is designed to work on data stored in a list format. It allows you to extract information from a list based on a lookup value. The lookup value must be something that can be found in the leftmost column of the list.
