do the same commands in excel 2003 work in 2007 (e.g. setting up a pivot table) or is re-training required for 2007?

RE: excel versions

Hello Vanessa

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

The functionality of Excel is the same across both versions, the main difference is how the interface looks. So re-training is not necessarily required, it just might take a while to find the features in 2007 that you are used to using in 2003.

You will be able to download the reference material for Excel Advanced for the 2007 version through your delegate account.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Using the Quick Access Toolbar in Excel2010

The Quick Access Toolbar is included in virtually every Office product, including Outlook 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, and PowerPoint 2010.

You will find the Quick Access Toolbar in the top-left side of the window. To begin, click the Customize button (it's the little black arrow at the end of the toolbar).

Simply click the commands you want to include.

Virtually any command can be added to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the More Commands option and a new window will open from where you can browse the commands including those not on the ribbon.
