How do I add lines of text into a cell

RE: adding alot of text into one cell

Hello Ben

Thank you for your question.

To have text on more than one line inside a cell, you need to use Wrap Text. There are two ways to use this.

1. Select the cell, then go to Format - Cell - Alignment then tick the Wrap Text box. Then if necessary resize the column width/row height to control how many lines the text goes onto.

2. As you are typing into the cell, press Alt+Enter together to make a new line when you want to.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Repeat action

The F4 key will usually repeat your last action. e.g. delete a row, then select another row and press F4 to delete again.
