Inserting a picture into an excel sheet

Can a picture inserted into excel be used as a background by sending it to the back like in powerpoint, or is there another way of layering different data levels?

RE: Inserting a picture into an excel sheet

Hi William

Thank you for your question.

The nearest option I can think of enables you to set a background image by going to the Format menu and choosing Sheet > Background. From there you can select a picture file to display behind the chart. Be aware though that Excel will tile the image to make it fit the entire sheet so your picture will repeat.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew
