Easter Eggs

Are there any easter eggs in Excel and how do you access them?

RE: Easter Eggs

Hi Katie,

Thank you for the question.

An Easter egg is a hidden message or feature like excel which you can access through a series of instructions.

The answer is it depends which version of excel you are looking at. There are easter eggs in the previous version of Excel (before 2002), but from 2002 onwards as there were compliants due to wastage of files and space so there have not been any put into the more recent versions.

Hope that helps & enjoy your training

Tracy

Thanks Tracy!

Excel tip:

Sorting data stored in rows

Primarily Excel is set up to sort data that is stored in columns rather than rows.

It is possible to get Excel to sort data stored in rows however.

Click in the row you want to sort, or select the cells in the rows you wish to sort.

Go to Data - Sort, then go to the Options button in the bottom left corner of the Sort dialogue box.
