RE: Powerpoint
Hello Kevan
Thank you for your question.
Usually the most straightforward way of displaying Excel data in PowerPoint is to use copy and paste.
When you paste into PowerPoint, using Paste Special instead of pasting normally gives you additional options of how you would like the data pasted. Clicking the dropdown arrow next to or underneath the Paste button should give you access to Paste Special.
Pasting as a Picture (Windows metafile) will make the file size smaller, and you can resize the pasted data as you would a picture or shape.
Pasting as a Worksheet Object will give you the option of being able to edit the data within the PowerPoint presentation much more easily (by double-clicking on it once pasted), but will result in a larger file size.
You will also have the option to be able to create a link between the data in PowerPoint and that within the original Excel file using the Paste Link option within the Paste Special dialogue box. This means that you will be given the opportunity to update the data in the PowerPoint file with the most recent data from the Excel file when the presentation is opened.
Kind regards
Amanda
