Linking sheets

I am linking sheets in one workbook using the formula =SHEET!CELL. This works fine, however sheet 1 which is a distribution list of names, will be updated therefore rows inserted. However, I need the other sheets to follow suit and insert rows with the information updating.

Is there a simple way of doing this?

Thanks

RE: Linking sheets

Hi Katie

Thank you for your question. There isn't an easy answer as far as I'm aware. To repeat the row on several sheets you are probably going to need a macro/some VBA programming.

Depending on the complexity of your workbook you may find our Excel VBA course of interest.

Excel tip:

Wrapping Text in a Cell in an Excel 2010 Workbook

When you have a lot of text you want to put in a particular cell but you can't decrease the font size to fit because the text will then become ineligible, then manually wrap the text in a cell by simply pressing ALT+ENTER.
